Model Making Plan 

  • Disconnect the parts of scooter

  • Place the steel pipe over the handlebar to cover

  • Weld the metals together in order to stabilize the wood

  • Place wood board on top of the welded metal 

  • Use the lower lock position hinges to connect the two woods as the backseat 

  • When scooter is folded, the two woods of the backseat can be used as a leg rest 

  • The base of the scooter will be used as the "foot" when walking

Aesthetics 

  • Interchangeable parts that can be removed and added

  • Small parts for certain body injuries can be upgraded

  • Padded seating for when users sit 

  • Added function for varied injuries 

  • Unique color ways that stand out rather than traditional colors 

  • More color ways or have prominent colors that define the unique values of the brand 

  • Sleek (no harsh edges) 

Hardware

  • Electric: Add handles that can be controlled to maneuver

  • Rechargeable? Certain stations that charge? (i.e. Tesla)

  • Tighten the hinges for the leg rest/seat

Inspired by Lime Scooters that increases awareness of increased city congestion and air pollution. The color way was inspired by its goal of being environmentally friendly.

  • Fewer disposals of used wheelchairs, crutches, or any other aids to help injuries 

  • Embrace the injuries users go through and feel included (app to connect with other users?)

  • Use renewable energy to power the device 

  • Reliability 

  • Convenient for MOST injuries

  • Safety is a priority for users 

  • Utilize more structural frames to ensure stability
