"If you have a body, you are an athlete."
The mission statement of Nike is to bring inspiration and innovation for every kind of athlete in this world.

Brand History Insights: Nike

4-3-min.jpg

For the longest time, Nike used red and white color palette on its logo. The company's motive behind this color was that RED stood for energy, passion, and joy, and WHITE stood for nobility, purity, and charm of the brand.

Nike's initial launch wasn't sneakers. It was a soccer cleat. It was in 1971 that Nike released its "The Nike football boot.

Inspired by Nike's first launch, I wanted to collectively design outdoor essentials within the color scheme for athletes that are involved in activities of walking, like hiking.

Potential User Profile: Meet Angie

"I sometimes lose track of time when I'm outside going on hikes. I think it is essential to have a flashlight with me in case it gets super dark. My favorite part about hiking is being able to see animals that I haven't seen yet! I think it will be crucial to have either a camera or a pair of binoculars to be able to capture them. Obviously, I need a backpack with me to carry all these things."
